Rowan (they/them) is the creatrix behind Making Love with God.
Workshop facilitator, psychosexual coach, ritual celebrant, and cited as a prime example of a sex-geek by their teacher Barbara Carrellas, Rowan’s big biases are sex and god, and finding creative ways to demonstrate their intrinsic connection.
Rowan champions love in all its forms. Their work provides a safe, sacred, and permissive portal into intimacy – with yourself, with your beloveds, and with a god who worships you, just the way you are. They are passionate about holding safe and accessible spaces for the difficult questions about love, sex, and gender.
Their other passions include getting down and dirty with words, paint, dance, and vegan food; and deep ecology, ecosexuality, and long walks in the wilds.
Rowan (BA. Oxon) is a graduate of the Urban Tantra Professional Training Program, which they have assisted on since 2011, and an ordained Interfaith Minister and Spiritual Counsellor. They have extensive experience and training in the fields of conscious sexuality and psychosexual health, and they are also a certified Firewalk Instructor.
Benjamin is Rowan’s partner in crime – that is to say, creating and facilitating ritual space – and life.
A spirit-led queer heathen ritualist, healer & teacher, he is trained in Reiki, Spirit Work, Shamanic Healing, Magic, Energy Work and Tantra, and blends these various threads, with guidance from spirit allies, to support your physical, emotional & spiritual wellbeing.
Benjamin believes in embodied spirituality, meaning spiritual practice that embraces the body and nature as sources of, rather than as hindrances to, enlightenment. His interests include ordeal rituals, body art, and native European spirituality.
His is also devout geek, and an unashamed pun artist.
Miranda nourishes our hearts with her exquisite presence, and our bodies with her delicious home cooked food.
When not astounding us with her magical vegan cakes, she is busy saving the world one community project at a time. Miranda is a passionate networker and mediator for social change; she is currently running a housing campaign and a Food Surplus Cafe in Oxford, whilst also stopping bad stuff from happening to the planet, and campaigning for human rights.
She facilitates women’s peace circles and teaches the violin, and dreams of co-creating a new way of living that is sustainable, communal, and infused with raw chocolate and radical compassion.
Olivia gifts the Making Love with God team with her passion for creating safe, sensual, and sensationally beautiful spaces.
Olivia holds space with the sweet presence, deep listening, and loving support she lavishes on our participants. She also transforms the physical spaces that hold our playshops and parties into the warm, sensual, and inviting environments that we love.
When she’s not gracing us with her pixie-like presence, Olivia can be found offering life-coaching, writing about travel, and cosying up in the audience of small London theatres and music venues. In another life she’s an architect, actually building the spaces she imagines.
