The ritual revels of Koinonia return on Saturday the 17th of May to entice you into new adventures in eros and ecstasy.

Our tenderly held realm of debauchery and delight will once again be shaped around the four elements, as follows:

– Air is the dance floor, encouraging ecstatic embodiment throughout the evening

– Water offers a tender temple of soothing sensuality, inviting rest and retreat, cuddles and massage

– Fire holds the play space, enticing you deeper into the infinite possibilities of pleasure and pain

– Earth is the grounding space, complete with tea and tasty home-cooked treats, and a space to converse and connect

At Koinonia, permission, rather than performance, is the order of the night, and you are welcome to indulge consensually and co-creatively in as much or as little of each element as you desire.

Weaving together ritual magic, invitations into connection, safer sex protocol, and a skilled team of facilitators, Koinonia is so much more than a sex party – embracing all that you are, sowing the seeds of community, and opening portals into embodied ecstasy.

Koinonia is an event where participants of all genders and orientations are welcome, and queerness is centred and celebrated.

Practicalities

Time and place: The event will take place in a dungeon venue in East London. Doors will open at 3:30pm, and the Opening Circle will begin at 4:00pm, at which point the doors will shut. The Closing Circle will be at around 8:45pm.

Tickets: Tickets cost £65. We also have a number of £35 tickets available for QTIPOC friends and other LGBTQ+ folks currently experiencing financial hardship. In the first week of ticket sales – from now until Monday the 31st of March – we have an early bird price of £60 and £30 respectively, and in the week leading up to the event any remaining regular tickets will cost £70. You can book your ticket(s) by contacting rowan@makinglovewithgod.co.uk.

If you’re booking for the first time, tell us a little about yourself, how you found the event, and any prior experience of sex-positive and queer-celebrating spaces.

The booking deadline is 6pm on Thursday the 15th of May – please be aware we often sell out before the deadline, and there will be no tickets available on the door.

A note on accessibility: The venue for this event has some accessibility issues – specifically, a narrow staircase connecting the two floors, and toilets that are not wheelchair friendly. Do get in touch with us if accessibility is a concern for you; we will do all that we can to assist you in attending the event – including offering a free carer ticket if coming with a companion would make it possible for you to attend. We are always on the look out for adaptable sex-positive venues that are fully accessible – so if you know of any, please do drop us a line!
